ENEA FIRESIDE TALKS are designed as a members-only, non-public and non-recorded space for candid, high-level exchanges on negotiation practice. Participation is intentionally limited to ensure quality of interaction. No slides, no formal presentation — just conversation, each designed as a space for serious, practice-oriented reflection. 

ENEA FIRESIDE TALK - N°1 - 26 MARCH 2026 -  The first fireside talk hosted an open conversation with Joshua Weiss on a deceptively simple question: What do we really misunderstand when negotiations fail? What emerged was not a set of techniques, but a deeper reflection on conditions  for failure, for return, and for learning. The kind of exchange that only becomes possible when the format protects both candour and attention. 

 

Our guest 

Dr. Joshua N. Weiss is co-founder, with William Ury, of the Global Negotiation Initiative at Harvard University and a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Negotiation Project. He is also the creator and director of the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Negotiation at Bay Path University, and President of Negotiation Works, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. from George Mason University.
